At a time when retailers and vendors are under increasing pressure to maintain margins, keep shelves stocked with in-demand products, and reduce operating costs, the market needs better technology solutions. That’s why earlier this year, Fintech SBT was launched to bring a modern, technology-driven version of scan-based trading to the market and drive real growth for supply chain partners.

We’re excited to share that Fintech SBT has been named a finalist in CSP’s 2026 Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest, in the Technology: Back of House category.

The recognition comes as Fintech SBT continues to grow into a single hub for retailers and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) suppliers running scan-based trading programs, giving both sides more visibility, more automation, and more control over the data and payments that keep shelves stocked and partnerships running smoothly.

Two recent feature additions helped make this nomination possible.

Price Book Back-Office Integration

Historically in scan-based trading programs, price book change requests or new item requests were approved via email, then manually entered in the retailers internal systems. Now, retailers can generate a standardized price book file directly in the Fintech SBT hub as soon as an approval goes through and then choose how to move the data forward:

  • Download and upload it themselves into their ERP, or
  • Send it automatically via FTP or AS2 straight into internal systems

Retailers can start with downloads and move to full automation whenever they’re ready. This will help their teams save time and lower the risk of costly price book set-up errors.

Inventory on Hand Report

Sales data shows what sold but not always what was available to sell in the first place. The expanded Inventory on Hand report gives vendors clearer visibility into inventory health across stores, including where stock may be running low and how quickly products are selling through. That means vendors can flag potential shelf issues before they turn into missed sales, rather than finding out after the fact.

Together, these updates help reduce manual work, close data gaps between retailers and suppliers, and give both sides the tools to run a smarter, more profitable program.

Cast Your Vote

Voting for the 2026 Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest is open through Aug. 7, with winners announced in late September and recognized at the NACS Show (Oct. 6–9, Las Vegas). Retailers can cast their vote for Fintech SBT here.

Thank you to the customers, partners, and team members who helped make this recognition possible.
